This year’s EMP-E 2021 conference was a real success! Three days full of high-level discussions, interactive technical workshops and poster sessions that shed light on cutting-edge policy, research and energy modelling topics. Our experts Panagiotis Fragkos, Alessia de Vita and Anna Flessa took active part in the conference, presenting E3M’s research and policy work on the role of energy system models in shaping the EU energy and climate policy agenda, on how social and behavioral change are captured by the models and in what ways hydrogen, carbon pricing and the decarbonisation of buildings are driving the transformation of the EU energy system.
