The overall objective of COMMIT is to support the development and implementation of (intended) Nationally Determined Contributions and to enable the preparation of mid-century strategies, to improve the quality of modelling tools developed by modelling teams in developing countries (including rapidly emerging economies in the G20) and to improve the knowledge of how action in economies representing a large share of global emissions, such as those included in the G20, relates to global low carbon pathways.
