PRIMES is once again at the heart of EU decision-making and more so in a time of unprecedented challenges for our continent and for the world.

This is the result of dedicated teamwork and a continuous thirst for knowledge that translates into policies for a sustainable and thriving European society.

In this pivotal moment for Europe’s clean energy transition, our modelling and policy analysis work for the European Commission has focused on increasing the energy efficiency and RES ambition and supporting the faster penetration of green hydrogen in the EU energy system.

Through a comparison of modelling results for different scenarios, we have also provided projections on the additional investments and costs that will be needed to achieve the goal of untangling from Russian dependency.
