We’re excited to be part of this new research project to make the Swiss energy system sustainable and resilient in the decades to come. For the next 6 years, we will work with 9 distinguished research organisations and offer our extensive modelling expertise to uncover the vulnerabilities of Switzerland’s energy system and propose ways to make the country’s energy supply as sustainable, adaptable and resilient as possible.

SURE is one of the four projects to be approved in the first call of the new funding programme SWEET, which is backed by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy and aims to accelerate innovations that are key to implementing Switzerland’s Energy Strategy 2050 and achieving the country’s climate goals.
