Dr. Andreas Andreou

Energy System Analyst

Dr. Andreas Andreou is a member of the PRIMES stationary demand team. His work focuses on modelling the evolution of demand and energy consumption in the residential and commercial sector as well as in industry. He is also tasked with assessing the effectiveness of different sectoral policy tools in achieving the energy and climate goals set by the European Union for 2030 and 2050. Andreas holds a PhD degree from the School of Earth and Environment of the University of Leeds, where he conducted research about the factors shaping residential space cooling demand.
