Energy System Modeller

Andreas Andreou is an Energy Systems Modeller working as a member of the PRIMES modelling team at E3-Modelling. The primary focus of his work is on modelling the evolution of demand and energy consumption for various residential and commercial end-use services via the PRIMES Buildings Model (PRIMES-BuiMo). Andreas also uses PRIMES to assess the effectiveness of different energy efficiency policies in reaching the energy and climate goals set by the European Union for 2030 and 2050. Andreas holds a BSc degree in Physics and an MSc degree in Economics and Policy of Energy & Environment, both awarded from the University College London (UCL).  He is also pursuing a PhD degree in Earth and Environment from the University of Leeds.
