Dr. Georgina Asimakopoulou

Senior Energy Analyst

Dr. Georgina Asimakopoulou has more than 10 years of experience in the application of analytical methods for optimal decision-making in the energy sector. Before joining E3-Modelling, she was employed by the Public Power Corporation (2008–2009), has served as a Research Associate to the Electricity Sector Observatory of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (2009–2012) and as a Researcher in the Energy Systems Laboratory (School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens – NTUA) (2007-2019). She has participated in numerous projects funded by EU institutions and in national projects funded by power system operators. She holds a PhD and a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA.
