Kostas Fragkiadakis
Senior economic analysis and modelling
Dr Kostas Fragkiadakis has over 12 years of experience in Computable General Equilibrium modelling, regional and macroeconomic modelling, and climate change and energy policy analysis. He is a member of the macroeconomics team of E3-Modelling, working on the development of the GEM-E3 model and its application to climate change policy assessment, environmental economics, energy economics and transport analysis related exercises. He has participated in a large number of studies assessing green growth strategies, investment assessments, linkages between climate change actions and sustainable development, and growth and employment effects incurred from the low-carbon transition. Kostas has served for three years (2009-2011) as an adjunct lecturer in Statistics and Econometrics; his research work has been published in various international scientific journals in the areas of Mathematical Modelling, Statistical Methodology, Computational Statistics, Economics, Environment and Energy. He holds an Economics degree, an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance, an Mphil in Economics and a PhD in Economics with specialisation in Goodness-of-fit testing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
