Dr. Kostas Kavvadias

Senior energy analyst

Dr. Kostas Kavvadias has over 15 year professional and research experience in energy system analysis, modeling and project deployment. Among others he has worked on topics related to power system, heating and cooling, energy statistics and accounting, sector integration, water energy nexus and desalination. During the last 10 years he had been working in international organization such as IAEA and European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. He holds a PhD from National Technical University of Athens. He has recently joined PRIMES modelling team and he will be working on topics related to power system modelling and policy analysis.
