Dr. Panagiotis Fragkos
Project Manager, Global Energy, Environment Analysis and Modelling
Dr. Panagiotis Fragkos is a member of the global energy, economy and climate team of E3-Modelling with over 12 years of experience in macroeconomics, applied econometrics and stochastic energy modelling. Throughout his career he has been conducting quantitative analysis of the global “energy-economy-environment” nexus and strategic planning of climate change mitigation and adaptation. Panagiotis has also dealt with developing and operating large-scale mathematical models that simulate international energy markets and energy price formulation for commodities such as gas, oil and coal; in particular, he has developed the PRIMES-Gas markets model. Panagiotis graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens and holds a PhD in “Stochastic modelling of the global energy system and applications”.
