Senior economy and energy analyst
Vasilis is involved in the development and operation of country specific energy models; he contributes to scenario design, quantification and policy analysis. In this context, he is actively participating in workshops as a trainer for capacity building on the use of modelling tools. He has participated in research activities in the field of energy economics, macroeconomic modelling, and public finance, and he also has experience in the industry sector. Prior to joining the E3-Modelling team, he worked for 7 years as lead electrical and automation engineer in the industry of water treatment and desalination. Vasilis has graduated from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens and holds an MSc degree in “Applied Economics and Finance” from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
